Defying Gravity with a Special Performance of Wicked

In February, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust became the first presenting arts organization outside of New York City to present an autism friendly performance of Wicked. Work for this performance included fostering marketing partnerships within the community and targeted marketing outreach via social media. To highlight this performance as a part of the Trust's accessibility initiatives, we partnered with the tour and a contract videographer to produce a short video that was released within a blog post in April, National Autism Awareness Month. The video was viewed over 50,000 times and received over 150 shares, with many heartfelt comments from patrons.
