Living Future

Living Future is the International Living Future Institute’s flagship conference, the annual gathering place for 1,000+ members of the community. I supported this event as a full-time staff member 2019-2022, and as a contractor 2023-2024. This included pivoting our 2020 event online in six weeks, as well as launching the conference in cities outside of the Pacific Northwest - Washington, DC (2023) and Atlanta (2024).

As Senior Manager, Events, I wore every hat: herding over 150 speakers, volunteer recruiter + manager, registration team lead, platform expert, content creator, tour coordinator, after party planner, marketing partner point person and more!

When pitching the event to speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, we start by sharing a one-pager. My work on the one-pager included copywriting, layout and design based on the look-and-feel developed by our communications team.

As part of our marketing campaign for Living Future 2021, we introduced some of the incredible practitioners, change-makers and innovators who are speaking at the event. These Q+As were shared on the Trim Tab blog, as well as social media.

In addition to event logistics, I also managed the event site, crafting content and ensuring details were up-to-date. I coordinated with our communications team to align branding, our sponsor team to guarantee accurate representation, and our IT team to integrate the site within our other platforms.
